Position Description

Title: Registered Nurse/Labor and Delivery

Location: Northeastern United States (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract | Night Shift | 7p-7a | 13 weeks

Compensation

Pay Range: $54.45-$73.50 Per Hr

Description

Work in a Level III high-risk facility with a focus on labor and delivery.

Float to the High Risk Obstetric Unit as needed, providing care for early inductions and antepartum patients.

Be prepared to float within five regional hospitals based on staffing needs.

Use the EPIC charting system for all documentation.

Scrubs are provided by the hospital.

Local rate differential applies for clinicians living within 50 miles.

Complete required modules and pass a Dysrhythmia test during orientation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care in labor and delivery settings.

Monitor patients on continuous monitoring systems.

Ensure readiness to float to various units and facilities as needed.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using a generic charting system.

Participate in orientation and complete all mandatory training modules.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and delivery.

Active NJ or Compact RN license required.

Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP are mandatory.

Experience must be current within the last 12 months.

First-time travelers are accepted
